CJ Korea Express signs MoU with ONE, the seventh global shipping company

       On July 3, CJ Korea Express announced the signing of a memorandum of strategic cooperation (MOU) with Japan’s Ocean Network Express (ONE), the seventh largest container shipping company in the world.
       As part of this business agreement, both companies agree to actively collaborate to secure competitive rates and space for CJ Logistics’ container cargo shipped worldwide from regions such as South Korea, China and Japan.
       Kang Byung Gu, a representative of the global department of CJ Korea Express, said, “We look forward to further developing the friendly cooperative relationship between the two companies, which have the strongest capabilities in the field of shipping and logistics, to create synergies.”
        ONE was established in 2017 as a result of joint investments by the container business units of three major Japanese shipping companies: Nippon Yusen Kaisha, Mitsui Lines Co., Ltd. (MOL) and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Co., Ltd. (K Line). ). The company’s headquarters are located in Singapore.
        Through this business agreement, CJ Korea Express has now established cooperative relationships with two shipping companies in the world’s three largest shipping alliances. CJ Korea Express continues to expand its global logistics presence and has established strategic business cooperation with five domestic and foreign shipping companies, including Evergreen Line, SM Line, Toyo Shipping and Nanxing Shipping.
